John M. Sirmon, CPA is the senior partner in the Firm.  He has over 30 years experience in the practice of public accounting and has been a CPA since 1974.  He became a partner in a large local firm in 1977 and merged in 1982 as a partner in a large regional firm covering the southeast.  He left this firm in 1984 to establish his own firm.  He is a member of the American Society of Certified Public Accountants, Mobile Chapter of the Alabama Society of CPAs, Mobile Estate Planning Council, and various other civic and business associations.  You may reach Mike via email at msirmon@mobilecpa.com. Karen C. Simmons, CPA, PFS joined the firm in September, 1996, and became a full partner in 2004.  She received her B.S. degree in accounting from the University of South Alabama in June, 1991.  She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Mobile Chapter of the Alabama Society of Certified Public Accountants, servers of the Accounting Advisory Board in the Mitchell College of Business at the University of South Alabama, and is active on the boards of other civic associations.  She has received her license for the State of Alabama as a Registered Investment Advisor. Mrs. Simmons is a Certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor who also specializes in providing accounting and auditing services, governmental and non-profit entities, retirement planning, and provides computer technical support and assistance, as well as accounting software training to the Firm's clients.  She has also been awarded the Personal Financial Specialist (PFS) credential by the AICPA.  You may reach Karen via email at ksimmons@mobilecpa.com. Lisa N. Peacock, CPA, joined the Firm in June, 1991.  She was promoted to accounting manager in January, 1997.  She received her B.S. degree in accounting from the University of South Alabama in December, 1990.  She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Mobile Chapter of the Alabama Society of Certified Public Accountants.  Mrs. Peacock specializes in providing accounting services for doctors, medical groups and accounting software training.  She became an Associate Partner to the Firm in January, 2000.  You may reach Lisa via email at lpeacock@mobilecpa.com.  Aneidre D.
