John M. Sirmon, CPA is the senior partner in the Firm.  He has over 30 years experience in the practice of public accounting and has been a CPA since 1974.  He became a partner in a large local firm in 1977 and merged in 1982 as a partner in a large regional firm covering the southeast.  He left this firm in 1984 to establish his own firm.  He is a member of the American Society of Certified Public Accountants, Mobile Chapter of the Alabama Society of CPAs, Mobile Estate Planning Council, and various other civic and business associations.  You may reach Mike via email at msirmon@mobilecpa.com. Karen C. Simmons, CPA, PFS joined the firm in September, 1996, and became a full partner in 2004.  She received her B.S. degree in accounting from the University of South Alabama in June, 1991.  She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Mobile Chapter of the Alabama Society of Certified Public Accountants, servers of the Accounting Advisory Board in the Mitchell College of Business at the University of South Alabama, and is active on the boards of other civic associations.  She has received her license for the State of Alabama as a Registered Investment Advisor. Lisa N. James T. Murray, III, CPA, MBA, joined the firm in July, 2008, as Accounting Manager.  Upon graduating from the University of South Alabama in June, 1991, with a  B.S. in Accounting, J.T. began his career as a staff accountant with a large, local public accounting firm.  Since that time, Mr. Murray has gained extensive experience in auditing and accounting services, income taxation, and business consulting.  He earned a Masters Degree in Business Administration in 1999, and served in key financial management positions in corporate and non-profit organizations.  Mr. Murray is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Mobile Chapter of the Alabama Society of Certified Public Accountants.  He became an associate partner to the firm in January, 2010.  J.T. can be reached via email at jmurray@mobilecpa.com.
